This is the beautiful, paved Media Parking Lot adjacent to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, one of many improvements made by new IMS owner Roger Penske.
Unfortunately, your trusty correspondent was deemed unworthy of a media credential in this Covid-19 environment, so this will be my only submission for this year’s 500-mile race. Hopefully, circumstances will improve in 2021, but I refuse to cover all on-track activities via second- and third-hand information.
